I Left My Heart in Fiji

Carly couldn't believe how quickly she fell in love with the Fijian people. She took a bunch of toys in her suitcase to hand out to the kids in the village. The kids started calling her balloony because of the punch ball balloons she handed out. They were a hit.

The Alliance for Youth Service group that Carly went with finished 5 complete community toilets in about a week and a half. They broke up into groups and worked with the local people in the village. Here is Carly's groups finished toilet - yes it is pink!!

Here is a picture of the group of kids Carly went with to Fiji. They were from all over the country. Carly made some really good friends while she was there, along with her second cousin Shelby Owens.
