Opening cards first!
We were so happy to have Mimi and Papa here to celebrate Carly's birthday.
Carly was so happy to get Rachel's gift. Carly had found this barrette with a peacock feather attached to a flower when we were in Old Town in San Diego. Rachel said Carly kept dreaming about it - so after Rachel's San Diego volleyball tournament we stopped by Old Town to get it for Carly. I do hope she doesn't wear it this way!
Mimi and Papa- thank you so much for my new laptop computer to use in college. It is the best birthday/graduation gift ever.
Connie and Carly learning how to use all of the fun programs on the Mac. They actually composed their own song. Mimi and I decided maybe the Mac was the wrong kind of computer to get Carly - she might get too distracted with all of the fun things you can do with it.

Carly took Connie down to Laguna Beach after church. I am sure our beaches look a lot different than the beaches in Seattle. You really forget how beautiful Laguna Beach is.

Looks like the birthday was a big hit. It's great your parents could be there to party with the birthday girl.... You're a great mom to through such big bashes!!!! I bet you needed a day or two to regroup! Way to go mom!
